Free blog graphics & digital art freebies

Happy Monday folks! I hope you are transitioning into fall painlessly, unlike myself. I have been busy distracting myself from the slow and inevitable end of summer by looking for some great free photos, digital art and free blog graphics to liven up my website, and since I found quite a few web design and photography sites I really liked, I thought I’d share the best of them with you guys.

I always welcome any new sources for great imagery and design, especially if they don’t cost a fortune. In this case, all of the goodies listed below are totally free! And even if you are not a blogger, I’m sure you will find many inspiring things from these folks’ pages, like scrapbooking ideas, free printables and materials for DIY cards and other crafts if you’re into that sort of a thing. Please read the use & copyright info for the items if you decide to use them. Have fun browsing & getting creative!

1. We lived happily ever after
I cannot believe I hadn’t stumbled upon this super cute website earlier. The site has a ton of really cute, feminine graphics, printables and fonts. Plenty of good stuff to buy as well but the freebies on this site are clearly better than most places offering the occasional free item. Well worth checking out.

2. Curly Made
This crafty blogger from Portugal offers a short but sweet list of free graphics, from nice watercolor social icons to hand-drawn wreaths and Easter bunnies.

3. Creative Market’s Free Goods of the Week
Creative Market is a real treasure trove if you’re hunting for any kind of digital design, but if you are looking to score some free goods, you should definitely check out their weekly offering of freebies. The selection is quite versatile, so you might not like what you see this week, but you could hit the jackpot next week, or find some cool resume templates for free.

4. Viintage (yes, spelled with two i’s)
This site is a nostalgic gallery of digital vintage posters, prints, cards and illustrations of every theme imaginable. Clicking each picture on the Free Downloads page will open a new gallery of dreamy vintage art, ready to be used for your creative endeavors.

5. The old design shop
Speaking of vintage, this website is literally full of beautiful free vintage clip art and images. Hosting a huge selection of themes to choose from, the site will satisfy every need for vintage images, form frilly French soap ads to antique Halloween décor illustrations.

6. Angie makes
The selection of professional, high-quality watercolor freebies on this site is just really great. If you are familiar with Photoshop, you can create all sorts of cool stuff from these graphics, like logos, posters and prints. Very nice and large collection of digital art to add to your site at no cost. One of my personal favorites; find the Freebies section in the top menu bar on the home page.

7. Magdeleine
This website offers a small but well-curated collection of awesome, hi-res photographs for free, and if you search within the CC0 licence type (Creative Commons Zero), you can really do whatever you want with these great photos. Such a nifty source for very nice photographs for those times when you really don’t have the means or the time to take the photos you need. You can search photos by thematic categories or by a dominant color, which is a great feature to have.

8. Unsplash
Also offering free hi-res photos, this site adds ten new photos every ten days to its collection, and if you like moody, dramatic nature and city shots, this place could be your new favorite in image sourcing. The photos often have a clean, minimalist esthetic which I personally love. My new go-to site for free, powerful photography for sure.

I hope you found some new sites to find cool resources from. Please leave your own favorites in the comments, I sure would appreciate the suggestions!

Wishing you a creative week,
Sera
